On the drive from Kailua-Kona to Hilo, we stopped at South Point. The water here is spectacular! We had heard about people cliff-jumping from here, but we had never seen it until this visit. A little too dangerous for me!

OK, now that you're in the water, now what? It appears that the water next to the cliff is relatively calm, but don't go out too far. If you get out into the ocean currents, the next land you'll find is Antartica. Fortunately, there is a ladder for you to climb back up to the top of the cliff.
On the drive to Hilo, we decided to stop by the Volcano Winery for a tasting, since it was getting close to "Wine Time". Kelli & Mike like their Symphony Mele and Guava wines, but Mel & Terry still prefer their Carlo Rossi "Landfill".
